Building a new visual identity (VI) for Audit Committee Practices at Deloitte

I led the art direction for Deloitte’s 2025 Audit Committee Practices Report and D.com page. I completely revamped the branding and design, which was previously owned by The Center for Audit Quality (CAQ). Live page here.

Overview

Our Audit and Assurance team stakeholders were in need of a rebrand for their annual Audit Committee Practices Report (ACPR).

  • An audit committee is a group of board members responsible for overseeing financial reporting and related internal controls, risk, independent and internal auditors, and ethics and compliance.

  • I was the art director for this project and worked with my agile and dev team, as well as designers from our Costa Rica (USCR) team, to create and launch a new ACPR brand identity, custom data visualization set, 70-page report, and webpage to be used for years to come. We had about 4 months to ideate, design, and finalize everything from start to finish.

Throughout the process, I owned and presented several rounds of pitches to different stakeholders to get initial buy-in on the ultimate VI that you see today. This VI would also help set the stage for future monthly spotlight reports and other shareable assets for ACPR.

Along the way, we pivoted on color decisions in order to meet Deloitte’s accessibility standards.

We worked through limitations on Infogram, which was our webpage data visualization tool, by exploring alternative components.

We sourced a suite of photography that felt professional, yet human 👩🏽‍💻📊
